I have come

She stood atop the moon in a silvery
glow and proud and loud she
announced:

"Creatures of the earth, big and small,
crunchy and smelly, sentient vapours
and clueless apes.
I have come."

And the moon flipped like a spinning
coin at the back of a café. And
the world flipped and the words flipped
and sense and meaning grew new
legs and walked off.

She stood yet still atop the moon and
watched and was watched.
