So it was I pushed problems into the future -
"Clever me", I thought, I'll be gone way sooner.
Alas the pile grew bigger and bigger
And pushing, well, got harder and harder
'Till in front of me laid a steadfast mountain
Of problems I'd rather soon have forgotten.
The future now I can't see for
There's a hill of stacked up painful chores.
The horizon's blocked out by tasks unstarted
Bills, emotions, fears, loss and the departed.
Make this, then, a cautionary tale,
And universe makers if you get my mail
Please make time multidimensional
So I can walk around those problems piled so tall.
